Automatic document recognition

Automatic document recognition with state-of-the-art OCR technology

Automatic document recognition allows detailed review of documents provided by the user.

After registration or to verify the source of wealth, the user uploads PDF documents or image files (JPG or PNG). The service uses the data fields first name, last name, street, house number, postal code, and city or IBAN for approval.

The system uses one of the best OCR services currently on the market. Automatic recognition compares the document content with the user’s input. The service is considered successful if the data comparison exceeds a specified match score.

This service is used to validate pay slips, utility bills, or bank statements . If the documents do not contain the required information, the service fails. The number of re-upload attempts is configurable.

Particularly in the Anglo-Saxon world, checking utility bills is a recognized method of identity verification. This method is not common in Germany. The submission of salary slips to prove the source of funds is more common there.

If automatic document recognition is integrated into sensitive processes, we recommend manual post-processing and additional approval using the insic “Manual Document Review” module.

Simplify your back-office team’s workload with automatic evaluation of incoming documents ! Detect incomplete upload information before the manual review process!
